About Carol

In addition to my magazine work, I was delighted to be submerged in art and writing even further through commissions from the Financial Times (Home supplement), The Arts Society Magazine, National Trust Magazine, Artists & Illustrators and the members’ magazine of the Royal Automobile Club.

Judging numerous art competitions developed into another happy role, particularly that of the annual, international Wildlife Artist of the Year, established by the late David Shepherd CBE.

Along the way, I founded and co-created the annual, international London Ice Sculpting Festival, held initially in the grounds of London’s Natural History Museum before moving to Canary Wharf for a further five years. Its huge popularity grew and grew until it attracted approximately 60,000 visitors across its long, winter week-ends.
